The benefit of building a rifle of your own on an AR 15 platform is that you can create a unique rifle to suit your own requirements.

The one pictured is my own, set up as a lightweight CRS rifle, too many dislocations and poor operation outcome has left my shoulders with limitations.

Shouldering a rifle of normal weigh, whilst in the standing sitting and kneeing positions is problematic. Having a rifle that weighs in at XXX with a very orange Carbon barrel and Bronze Cerakote, out shoots me every time, sub MOA, makes up for some enjoyable day on the range.
